Fighting Malaria one net at a Time

Nothing But Nets is the world’s largest grassroots campaign committed to fighting malaria, a leading cause of death among children in Africa. Together with UN partners, Nothing But Nets raises funds, increases awareness, and sends life-saving bed nets to protect families in sub-Saharan Africa from malaria.

Why we Love Them

Malaria is both preventable and treatable. Pregnant women and children under five are the most vulnerable to malaria, and it’s the leading killer of children in sub-Saharan Africa. Half of the world’s population—3.3 billion people—live in areas where they are at risk. There are more than 200 million cases of malaria each year and close to 600,000 deaths. Nothing But Nets focuses on highly vulnerable populations, with a special focus on refugees, by providing bed nets, education, and distribution that save lives.
